Welcome

Le Mas Bleu is an old farm building remaining of the golden age of the Southern Ardèche. It was built at the beginning of the 18th Century in its current size. The purpose of the building was the manufacturing of silk. But some parts of the supporting arches are much older!

Geographically, it is located on the southern foothills of the Massif Central, which is of volcanic origin. The foothills were washed-over by the lime sandstone deposits of the Mediterranean basin. The farm was built with these stones.

The South of the Ardèche is also influenced by the Mediterranean climate. Therefore it is affected by the mistral-wind and consequently by its four seasons.

In the beginning of 1990 it was converted into a guesthouse including a separate private living area.

Open from mid-March to early November
